New Cookware

I have been using the same pots and pans since college.
These pans are non-stick coated and have a million scratches in them.
Since I started school at IIN, it has been brought to my attention that scratches on these pans are bad because toxins are able to be released into the food.

My mom always did warn me about scratching pots and pans, but I never really realized using beat up pans could affect my health.

With this new knowledge, I decided it was time for a change.
I did some research and was between stainless steel and cast iron pans.

Cast iron pans are good for high temperature while stainless steel pans are used over low-medium heat. Stainless steel may not be used with high heat as this will burn the food and cause the pans to stain. The technology in stainless steel pans is incredible.
Cuisinart pots and pans are designed with a pure aluminum-encapsulated base which heats up quickly and enables even heat distribution. No more hot spots!!

When it came to selecting the best set, I wanted to be able to fully replace all of my pots and pans.

I decided on an 11-piece Cuisinart set, which is the best brand out there for cookware in my opinion.
I will probably pick up a cast iron pan to add to the collection.

Stainless steel pans are a different type of cooking than what I am used to, but I am excited.
My cooking game is about to be forever changed!

P.S. These are dishwasher safe.
